Programmes
Seven programmes and two cross-cutting areas, one method: develop a practical model with the community, test it, document it, and transfer it to the institutions that will sustain it.

From community-based rehabilitation to inclusive development
DRRA began community-based rehabilitation in 1998 and, in 2018, reframed it as community-based inclusive development: inclusion in all community development. Programmes are designed with community-based organisations (CBOs) and work on two tracks, supporting the individual and changing mainstream services.
Identify
Community workers, self-help groups and mobile teams find children and adults who have never been assessed, and refer them.
Deliver
Therapy, devices, schooling and livelihood support close to home, often in village centres set up by the community.
Sustain
Organisations of persons with disabilities, mothers’ groups and partner NGOs take the work over.
Programmes in action
A cross-section of the work: knowledge-sharing events, humanitarian response, climate and WASH activities, and community moments.
