Inclusive Education at mainstreaming schools

DRRA has developed and implementing a model of Inclusive education with the aim of promoting Disability Inclusive Education in mainstream education system (Both primary and Secondary) by providing context and aged appropriate learning opportunities for the learners It is evident that inclusive education can be materialized through its implementation. This model is being implemented in three domains, namely individual, community and institutions. DRRA works for trained children, parents, and teachers, Creating favorable schools and classroom atmosphere and for measurable educational outcome of its targeted children. As a part of community resilience and response to Education in Emergencies (EiE), DRRA supports schools to do Hazard and Vulnerability Capacity Assessment (HVCA), develop contingency plan and equipped schools with logistics and capacity building support.
